Fuck Yeah Throat Tattoos!

Hola amigo

I wrote ages ago to let you know how a throat tattoo feels although at that point I’d only just had the outline.

Well the shading is ok as well, either side caused goose bumps and manic laughter when up by my ear but was fine. The front was a little uncomfortable while being done and parts felt like my windpipe was being a little hacked at but nothing too bad and I’d rather have my throat done than my ribs as that is PAIN!!!!!

So the pic is the healed thing. drawn up as a collaboration between myself and my boss Neil Bass at Tattoo FX in West Sussex.

I gotta say as well, we won’t tattoo necks, throats or hands of anyone unless they have substantial work already. We don’t agree with the ‘scener’ thing of just hands and throats being tattooed, you guys are way too young to do that to yourselves without a well thought out career and employers WILL take the untattooed over the tattooed regardless of qualifications and experience. Not being an arsehole, just being honest as this girl is old enough to know better herself at 35 but I work in a very reputable studio and previously spent 13 or so years as a [very tattooed] youth worker but to do that I got myself very qualified. 

Live first, plan ya tattoos and once settled and happy with the direction your life is going do it.

-Thank you for everything you said, and sending your picture. But i would just like to say that i have my entire arms hands and fingers tattooed, am 20, and have had these tattoos since i was 19. And my employer’s, who are 60+ years old, hate tattoos, and have a clear rule in their rule book that says you can not have a single visible tattoo, would take me, and did take me, over any untattooed person there is. And that’s exactly because of my “qualifications” and ”experience” that you claim employer’s wouldnt take because of tattoos. So yeah, not to be an arsehole, but to be honest, would ever pick someone less qualified for a job because the other person has tattoos? If you would you are retarded. But i dont think you would, so why are you saying other people will? Quite frankly if an employer is hiring less qualified people maybe that person shouldnt be the employer. Im really sick of this whole tattoo acceptance argument when the argument shouldnt even be able to exist because we everything living in the world today should have realized discrimmination is wrong a hundred years ago. If im old enough to know this then you should be too.

There is no such thing as living first, live ALWAYS. And never let anything stop you from doing what you want. Youre never going to change things if you dont do something about it.
